A day in the life...[part 1]

Ahhh, the life of Mr.Watanabe is amazing indeed.

You see, since spending January 1st in deep contemplation of the state of his life and the ramifications of past decisions, Mr.Watanabe decided he was ready to become an adult.

Perhaps it was the rhythmic rolling up and down of the window, or maybe the consistent meditative action of scraping the inside of the door. In an almost Mr. Miyagi inspired moment of perception Mr. Watanabe found himself at a new crossroads in his life.

It was that day, at that very place, where Mr.Watanabe's dear old Cat-friend who went by the name Tiger to the human sphere, would contemplate lifes existence as expressed through the subtle patterns of ants trekking across cracks in the pavement, where Mr. Watanabe knew on a deep internal level that things had to change.

The following day, Mr.Watanabe sent messages out to friends past whom he could arrange to catch up with over the course of the next couple of months. He also picked up the latest issue of Details magazine (for Mr.Watanabe decided that in order to maintain his life of International crime, green striped shirts and badly fitted jean shorts would no longer do) and started throwing books out of the bookshelves. He would put the intent to the universe that things were in for a change. He would move the TV and refrain from hurting his soul with bad habits.

To Mr.Watanabe's surprise, the first person to respond to his calls for attention (he wanted to make up for not keeping in touch with old friends...) was the least likely. And while no conclusions can be drawn nor would Mr.Watanabe like to, the very simple fact that this individual was the first to get his message and request to meet in person fueled him to propel forward with his attempts at massive internal change.

Mr. Watanabe would take a break from his life of crime and attempt to pay close attention to what the universe was telling him, it's response to his calls for change. Over the course of the next few weeks he would come to understand that life has a very specific plan for him over the next couple of years. To fight it would be to inflict emotional pain, he had and still has no choice on the matter. He always understood this at an abstract level, but never before was he able to see the details, the seemingly subtle signs that these events are in progression...

Motivation in hand and time to spare Mr. Watanabe would embark on many adventures, some solo, some with friends. He would start by finding wisdom in places, running with kites, being lead to a long lost home away from home. He would venture across the Universe and slay Plutonic Dragons with friends. He would embark on a quest for fashionable pants and make a great pilgrimage to the upper echelons of men's fashion only to be turned away and while wondering the city streets he would find himself flirting with a gay man and chilling with the Dalai Lama...

Mr.Watanabe knew it that day, on January 1st, that this was necessary. This was good. He also knows these events were seeded long ago...He makes it a point to make no guesses about the future, he avoids taking all the magical signs and experiences as an indication of "things better to come" but instead as beautiful and perfect experiences within themselves. As he set himself up for these moments in life he knows he's setting himself up for future moments in life.

In order to parse all the happening in his life Mr.Watanabe decided perhaps he would start putting some to text...He's not sure where to go with it, but feels for the time being it will be nice...criminals have hearts too...sometimes...

[This is quite cryptic...but not so much. Crow, I'll be giving you a call very soon. Perhaps tonight to discuss all this in more detail...it's been crazy man, just ask What, I know he was tripped out the day we voyaged across the universe. And about the gay guy, my first thought of SF is always the time Crow and I got hit on after new years, so when this happened I decided I would react differently and avoid making this guy feel embarrassed (he was sweet...what can I say...), beside, it was interesting to observe how subtle changes in body language can evoke very strong responses...if only I had the hots for dudes...I'd so be there.]

LOL!!!

Crow and Watanabe are sooo connected...I'll have to ask my psychic friend about this at some point.

Crow called me right now just to see how I'm doing. And the best part, he didn't even know that I had made a post! Let alone that I wanted to call him tonight!!!

HAHAHAH!

Moose, we should share details over lunch tomorrow (tuesday) or wednesday...

Damn. Glad I called. Seems like Watanabe and Crow share similar paths. Even if those paths are on different sides of the west coast.
