To the Brigade

Thanks again to Ron and Syd for having me over last week. As usual I had a fantastic time. This visit was distinct in that I was able to sit back and soak it in without tripping on anything random. Of course I always have a million things running through my mind at all times, but lucky for me Berkeley has that special rhythm that almost allows me to be at complete peace. Things start moving slower, but my heart starts beating faster, its an interesting effect really. I cant put my finger on it but the Bay does wonders for my soul. Its obvious that I have difficulty leaving, every single time, but it always feels good to be back in L.A. Always. So much has already gone down since Ive been back and I havent even started school yet. I belong right here. So much for me to develop and L.A. is conducive to that growth. Its the perfect place to provide plenty of opportunities for me to be tested. Berkeley is just too easy for me. haha! I'll have to retire that way once Ive conquered this city, fucking Conan the Barbarian status. Minus the violence but the big sword, snakes, and fine chicks can stay. Im down for that. Until that day I will have to make my annual visits to the Bay in order to remind myself of what Im heading towards. Im bound to sail before I fly.

Thanks again for keeping me company while I was on my excursions. Ron pretty much tagged along with me everywhere. Thanks for that, someone had to be there to witness my return to I.B. Hoagies and my mecca to the pier. Thanks Syd for convincing us to go to the gym. It was awesome, I sure missed out by not joining that Y. Ill get my membership the day I move back. Ive already told Gary so much about it that he rearranged his garage so that wed have more bars at our disposal, more weights, easier to switch in between sets, he just couldnt be out done by the Y! haha! I told him, once its summer time and my pool heats up, the Y wont have anything we need that wont be right in our back yards.

Lorenzo and Evelyn thank you! Not sure that both of you read this post...but the sentiment remains the same. It was fun hanging out with you both. We will have to do so again and for longer periods of time, perhaps camping? I look forward to hanging out more with Evelyn who Im growing fonder of all the time, and of course Lorenzo you know me from way way way way way back and this life wouldnt be complete if it you werent in it to remind me(who I was and who I am!).

Dan and Ashley thank you! San Franciscio was awesome. Dan, its been super long since we hung out in the Bay, this needs be happening again and soon, Im thinking Spring, but something must give. You know your always welcome to swing by and bug me in L.A. It was great to kick it with you in person for a change. Ashley is hillarious! No wonder she likes you Dan, your great sense of humor instantly comes to my mind when I think of you. I'll have to get on facebook sometime so I can send you that picture of Ron and Ashley posing in the Japantown cutout. Its pretty funny. Oh and thanks again for showing me the Palace of Fine Arts. That spot is dope! Im going back over there next time I go to the Bay for sure.

Edward I miss you!! I wish I could somehow virtually pet you but I guess technology just hasnt crossed that line yet. Im wishing you good kitty vibes right now. Hopefully your snoozing somewhere soft and cozy.

Other random thoughts....San Francisco is fucking amazing, James Bond (hes so cold!) is my new hero, I AM NEVER PLAYING MUNCHKINS AGAIN!, card games are funner with numbers and suits. hehe. Cold Sapporro at Miifune tastes better than cold Sapporro anywhere else. Wii Fit is cooler than I thought.......I guess I could go on and on but Im just trying to say that I love you guys and I'll be back soon as I can. Until than, WoW anyone?

Honestly though, we should see more of this kind of stuff. I guess the trippy thing is that one whole wing of this thing is missing. That's a big wind mill. So where did the blade go? And what the hell kind of impact would leave the other gnarled so and the whole thing standing? Anyways, a lot of people saw lights and heard this crash. The next day, the intertoobs were buzzing with UFO theories. Which seem to be still going on =)

And last but not least, another Stonehenge in lake Michigan?
It seems sonar images have surfaced which depict a large circular structure of stones under lake Michigan. Pics look cool regardless of what they mean =)
