Aldor vs. Scryer
Alrighty folks, so I tried to look at all the available information and make a choice that best suits the brigade, but unfortunately I can't make it with conviction. Between Akama and Blackelk it seems either side would benefit them. For Integral it seems Aldor would be better. Aldor also has an exclusive tunnel from their tier that goes to directly to Nagrand which will be good for the 64-66 level range. However there are certain things that I can't speak for and so I put these to the cup:
1. Inn/Tier Position: The Scryers Hearth location on their tier is closer to the ground than the Aldor tier is, meaning that characters can run off of it without taking the elevator (death is assured when jumping off of the Aldor Tier to the main city ring without protection). from wowwiki
Akama can always float down and if she dies falling it's not as big a deal to repair her as it is for mail and plate.
2. Recipes: I personally don't craft yet, though I plan on going engineer eventually. But I know Blackelk does leatherworking and Integral does blacksmithing right now. The recipes you can obtain are listed at wowwiki. The main difference is Aldor does fire resistance gear and Scryer does arcane resistance. I'd say lets go with the fire so we might be able to run MC when we're 70 or 80 hehe.
Check out the comparison page and the quest rewards if you want to get into some of the specifics. I'm leaning towards Aldor, though I could live without hanging near Alliance. Thoughts?

Yo its late and Im too lazy to include an image but this stuff is important so Ill just post right now.

In addition. The new NIN album is 100% free. Yes thats right, hes done it again. I downloaded the mp3 file right now and sent links to Syd and Lorenzo. Have fun with that.
Also, Wii is fucking fun! Why didnt yall tell me it was so cool? Go get Mario Kart asap so we can all play wireless. Peace and Good night. Im off to listen to new Nails!

A king is born....
What you see above illustrates my own little character creation process. It's kind of funny, you can see my idea of "The Marmot King" slowly taking shape. I used some ideas from Frank Cho's Liberty Meadows for this one, I like it though. My first draft is more life-like and slowly I add the cartoonish elements.
Anyways, I hope to draw some sketches for "The Great Paladini," and "Mr.Watanabe." They will cooperate with "The Marmot King" for the sole purpose of world domination. I really wanted to get "The Marmot King" down. I'm sure you can all guess, my favorite is the drawing on the right. After I drew it, I had a thought...maybe I'll put the guy in a dress shirt and tie. Could be fun.

How did Vader make the Death Star?
Ever wonder how Darth Vader found funding for the Death Star?
The link takes you to a page with a bunch of funny begging (although only a small amount are actually funny) signs.
On an unrelated note, when did this rating system rear it's ugly head? Did anyone add that feature or did the great bloggspot dictators demand we conform?
----------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE (3:24pm)
I figured out how to add/remove the ranking stuff from posts. I'll leave it on and we'll run a vote to see if people want it. After the vote either it stays or goes.
------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE (3:25pm)
Strange, I removed the ranking feature only to find that when I tried to re-enable it...the option disappeared. What does it all mean? Guess no rankings for now. I'll wait to throw a vote up until we can actually implement the system again. Tell me what you think!
Should foreign aid be used to leverage change in countries run by oppressive regimes? Oh wait, that's Burma! Do you guys feel a ranking system should be used to leverage change within an oppressive cup?

My cup is half full... of shit!
I want a fleet of these...
Desktop trebuchets / catapults. If this isn't the coolest thing ever, it's got to be pretty close. Also, if you happen to need to defend your play-castle against invading forces of evil, they've got 3-foot tall ones too. Yay for projectiles.
Electro-Sensational!
Finally! A scientific endeavor that doesn't seem like a waste of funding. Scientists have deciphered the genome of our beloved furry friend, the Platypus. What kind of intelligent, mind-boggling, knee-hurting discoveries did they make?
"It's wonderful to see all of the different mishmash of features that the platypus exhibits; to see those features reflected in the DNA, in the genes of this creature, which has held mysteries for the scientists and the general population ever since it was discovered 200 years ago." - Dr. Ponting
Well there you have it. We've decoded the Paltypus genome only to discover it's a "mishmash of features that the platypus exhibits."
And in case you're wondering as to the title of this post, a small factoid shared in the article mentions that the Platypus utilizes electro-reception (detecting small variations in electrical fields) to detect prey in the water while only using it's eyes to out of water. So in essence, the platypus is magneto! Rock on!
