Could use some input

Hey cup community!

I found a position as web developer for an education information organization. Essentially, they provide statistics, analysis, and tools to nonprofits, education programs, policy makers and the government. They're looking for someone with statistical analysis experience, basic web skills, and an eye for detail.

I've come to find, it's a lot more impressive if you have a website that contains all the info potential employers may want. When I found this position I took to the net and got wordpress (kind of a basic website framework with cool features and highly customizable) installed on my webspace.

I could really use your guys' input. I'm trying to flesh out a basic design for a "DreamNebula" icon / header so that may change over the week, but the basics are there.

Here's the link:

Any input would be appreciated!

Overall, it looks clean and professional. I'm not entirely sure about the dashed gray lines. At first they were making me think of a template or something under construction (I'm having issues coming up with the way to describe the feeling, maybe "unfinished", I don't know), but by the time I had clicked and scrolled through all of your tabs it wasn't really bugging me, so it may not really be an issue. Just a thought in case you had other design ideas you were considering.

you all know how I am lousy with design elements (visual) so I can say that to the average joe the site looks clean and its not to "busy" with colors and random graphics. I like that. Other than that I am sending you mad support in the form of love/dreams/good intentions. Good luck.

Thank you guys sooo much for the input! Cyrusse, you made a GREAT point about the dashed lines so I've revamped them a little. Please take a look and tell me what you think now.

Crow, thank you for the support. Believe me, I know what it means to have project their ideas / intent into the universe. Just one reason I've mentioned this particular position and my site. I can really use the thoughts.

Well, anyways, back to work!
