Firefox 3, is set to release Tuesday June 17th! And to kick off the gooey web goodness June 17th is officially download firefox 3 download day. Well no one with any real authority declared such a thing, but you know how these things work on the inter-tubulars. What can I say, they want to set the Guinness book of records record for "the largest number of software downloads in 24 hours."
Here's the official Spread Firefox download day website. You can even pledge to download firefox and somewhere in the information web a memory gate gets an electron! Thats right your click can give feed one starving memory gate/memory block for as long as the storage medium exists or until it's wiped clean and used for other more important information.
Anyways, why not contribute to this useless goal? Firefox 3 is amazing to say the least. I guarantee you it's already stable with the current release candidate. I've had zero problems with this current version.

Though I haven't really cared to download any of the beta clients, I'm pretty much 100% positive I'll be downloading the mac and windows versions of this tomorrow... err later today. Thanks for the release date post Lorigga!
