FISA Special Comment from Keith Olbermann
Here we learn that the new douchebag that has replaced Alberto Gonzales, Mukasey, has ties to Verizon. So Mukasey tries to make a case for waterboarding being ok and capital G fights to give the telecoms retroactive immunity. What a nice trade! Governmental circle-jerks all around!

I cant believe this guy is actually on a national television station. two years ago his opinions would have been seen as "un-patriotic" glad to see that times have changed and its know safe to be descent and honest again. Im not sure if things would really change with a democratic in office. To me its 2 sides to the same coin, but its nice to hear liberal media for a change, and not just on some indie am radio station.
As for his topics I already knew pretty much everything that he was talking about was going on. I saw good chunks of that state of the union address (as much as I could withstand) and I could see Bush trying to lead us into 1984/Brave New World territory. Its just refreshing to hear it from others. Perhaps we can still save ourselves from Fascism, but as of late Ive come to realize that this "democracy" created by free masons was actually never intended to do anything but enslave its people. Its cute on the outside with its checks and balances but in the end the people that founded this nation made up their mind that instead of having foreign dictators we would have local ones. It seems if I remember American history that westward expansion was not popular amongst the more liberal easterners, especially because it meant obliterating the native cultures. But we did it anywayz. They feed us this bull shit about manifest destiny and that pioneers just didnt see the Indians as humans, but in truth it was only a handful of powerful people who really pushed for the genocide, all others were being coerced into voting accordingly with fear tactics of "the red man will rape our women". sound familiar? Im not trying to be cynical and I certainly havent decided that as a people we should just abandon hope of a true democracy. Im just not a little boy anymore. Im not naive enough to believe that we ever had one.
