So this is one of my first couple attempts at stitching together photos into a panorama using a program called Hugin. I posted this instead of the others because Syd's last Yosemite post shows the exact same place and looks totally different. Well that and I wanted to have some bargaining chips. I have in my possession one of the sickest panoramas of Sylmar, CA known to man as well as a panorama from a certain cave/nook in Vasquez Rocks. I will accept all pictures taken by the Southern California branch of the Cup and their affiliates from the Yosemite trip in exchange for the remaining panoramas and the photos we took. How should we make this happen? Also, just wanted to remind everyone that Syd received a grand total of 0 gil from those who went on the trip, though Dan did pitch in for gas on our way out of Berkeley.In other news, from this post on C&L:
United States interrogators killed nearly four dozen detainees during or after their interrogations, according a report published by a human rights researcher based on a Human Rights First report and followup investigations.
In all, 98 detainees have died while in US hands. Thirty-four homicides have been identified, with at least eight detainees — and as many as 12 — having been tortured to death, according to a 2006 Human Rights First report that underwrites the researcher’s posting. The causes of 48 more deaths remain uncertain.
