Fuck Fuck Fuck
Well Ive officially been notified that I will receive no financial aid this year. The fucking bastards have the nerve to send it an email with a subject that reads "Congratulations your awards have been approved!" its just a uniform subject title, when you read the email it sends you to the link, the link informs me that I qualify for loans...apparently thats my great award from the state, theyl loan me money with interest. fucking assholes

Yeah... that was my great award from the state/country too, though I really didn't expect them to give me free money. Would have been nice though. I'm sorry, I know student loans are just one more pain in the ass and you already have plenty to deal with. Are there any departmental scholarships or anything you could apply for? Agreed on the Terminator's ball suckage.
Sorry to hear that. Federal aid is getting tight from what I hear. It's kind of funny, I've been going through datasets at work that pertain to financial aid awards to students in both secondary and post-secondary....but haven't really read the data since there are a crap load of sets.
That's the scary thing about applying to graduate school right now. More loans...

its for the upcoming fall year right? not the year you're finishing up? either way that super blows. and the email title is lame as fuck.
its for the upcoming year, this last year I have had has been free, and with that in mind, Im happy, at least I got more than half of it done on government dime. Ive had time to calm down, Im not sure if the school has local scholarships that FASFA didnt pick up on, and Ill be sure to ask them that tomorrow when I go into financial aid for advice. I appreciate all of your support, I know that many of us have already taken out loans, and anticipate taking out new ones, it helps me to not be so immature about the situation, as usual, Im in good company.
