I got in to grad school! I'm not entirely sure what to make of this yet. I think I'm excited, but I'm also kind of flustered because now I actually have to do this. Before it was always a hypothetical thing that was only hypothetically scary. I's gonna be edumacated hehe. So... if I disappear for 2 years starting this fall, it's not my fault and you've been forewarned.

and it means I won't have time to do the next round of this project at work that I really hate. omg, now I actually AM excited hehe.
YAY!!! I am thrilled for you! Yes, it must be daunting, hell Im busting my ass off just to get my BA, but I firmly believe that getting out of comfort zone and traversing more difficult paths is more worthwhile to our overall growth and hell, it tends to work out monetarily as well. (hehe) seriously though, I know your up for it, your the smartest chick I know, hell maybe the smartest dude either (you know what I mean) so get in there and wup some Berkeley Academic Elitist Ass! Im counting on you to represent for the rest of us lowly cuppers who can only dream of edumacation of such stature. Wow, great news.
haha, I don't know if anyone has ever called me a smart dude before. I'm pretty sure I take that as a compliment. so this marmot picture is totally me: "I've got a tasty pear, but I've just gone a little bit braindead. I'm just gonna hold my pear..." I knew there was a reason this one called out to me (other than the fact that I've already used most of the marmot pictures that google images brings up)
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
This is wonderful news in a time in which we need wonderful news. We need details! Are you going to be a full time student? What degree are you shooting for? What department is it? What will you you do to prove that you've done your work: thesis, project, some sort of long paper?
Anyways, I hope you celebrated...I guess now you can read PhD comics and really feel like you're part of it =)
