Hey cuppers! Hope everyone had a great new year and are in good health. Well, this has been a crazy week of organizing and cleaning as Evelyn settles in to the bay. Things are wonderful except for one small tidbit. My rig is dead X^P
Well, to be clear, the motherboard. I think the controller for the memory modules fried. It was very surreal. I was busy swapping memory modules because Mark gave me some old ones from his last computer, I would change the configuration, plug my comp in, and turn it on. The plan was to figure out if either of the two 512MB modules worked. Well, after toying with things for some time...and even finding a working configuration but succumbing to my delusions of ultra processing power via finding the right combination with a working stick (I figured out one was busted and thought the other worked) I found myself hitting the power switch and watching my motherboards soul magically waft into the air. All of this occurred right at Evelyn walked into the room, just in time for the show. Her eyes, were wide and her mouth held agape. She knew the implications of that smoke...
Anyways, I have another mobo that may work but way too much to do. I have been wanting to make a new rig anyways but I must wait till the job issues pan out, sigh...
So yeah, won't be able to jump into any games any time soon....sigh...guess it's not such a bad thing since I've already minimized how much I play computer games...I'll probably be a LOT less inclined to use my computer at home...seeing as how my work laptop requires me to change settings to get it on my network..damn my laziness.
Anyways, What, thanks for having Evelyn and I over for new years! Crow, you traveling this way for the week? Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life!

Well crap now I'd just feel bad about posting how my comp is actually up and running now... typing on it as we speak.
Glad you two could make it down for New Years there's a ton of pictures up (10 sets of ~60 pics, you do the math)on facebook from the party a few good ones of everybody. Ash went to the trouble of getting them all up since i'm too lazy. Anyways sorry to hear about the comp if there's anything I can do to help I have some spare parts and whatnot or I'd be happy to help with the network switching. I know in xp there are ways to set up auto switching for networks, but I haven't had to delve too far into it.
We must beat back the digital horde! We will conquer them! Or at least get them to burn cds for us or something hehe.
