my thought was that it was admiring the tree, but you never know; marmots are wily.
naw he's getting ready to spew out a christmas hairball for the tree!
I think hes admiring it, the soft glow of the Christmas lights remind him of the light shining within his soul and it tempers his marmot rage. Nice work, epic statement.
