We just got back and everything went as planned.... except for me being sick the whole time. Two members of the brigade are now wed and 4/5 of the brigade made it safely up and down half-dome! Exciting times and almost tribal warfare. ask me later, hehe. Hope everyone is well on finding this!

Platypus Brigade Returns to the Bay!

Well, posting on a blog "Congratulations!" just doesn't seem appropriate for these circumstances. I will have to think/take a moment to ponder how best to commemorate you're new union in my own way.
That said, I'm very happy for you two. I can only pray that I have as many life experiences with a special someone before entering that type of union. You guys have always given me hope as far as relationships are concerned. So thank you. In many ways I'm sad I couldn't be there; however, over the course of this weekend I got the opportunity to spend a long evening hanging out (while in LA the night before going to Vegas) and talk to (while in Vegas) Schrodinger's Girl. I'm not sure what transpired (or will for that matter), but now she's coming to visit me next week from Thursday through Sunday. An opportunity I just wouldn't have had I gone. Funny how life works out...that whole situation was very unexpected!
I can't wait to see pictures and break bread with you all in the presence of my mom later this evening. We shall draw a MASTERPIECE @ Macaroni grill!!!
