So, I love Firefox 3. I've only had one major complaint until now. Thats the annoying "This site does not supply identity information" tooltip that pops up when I'm dragging a site icon from the address bar into a bookmark folder. Essentially,m this tooltip blocks my toolbar folder icons and disables me from conveniently bookmarking a site.
So I finally found a solution:
In your address bar, type "about:config"
search for "browser.chrome.toolbar_tips"
Double click the entry to set it to false.
Then rejoice that that pesky toolbar tip wont rear it's ugly head.
In other news, last week I hit a parked car while riding my bike. I completely slammed into the rear-view mirror and swiped it off clean. I blame marmots. This was their first attempt on my life. I'm scared. Not really. I was fine, just kind of hurt my elbow when I fell. And it will cost $200 - $300, yes, I found the car owner and am waiting for the final price...sigh...
And my mother is so supportive. When she heard about my misshap, her first words were "I knew he was going to hit something!" thanks mom. Have I ever told you guys, when I told my mom I was breaking up with Vicki and would be single again, she promptly responded "Welcome to the club!" LOL, that's my mom...
Crow, photobucket was down for maintenance last night I'll check out those pix asap.
Moose, I'm taking a french class on thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 every thursday through August. So we'll have to figure out the gym stuff soon.

Great, I was already paranoid about having to ride my bike to work next week (hooray for bus driver strikes). So far I've been more worried about the moving cars, but apparently anything can attack you when you're on a bike. A team of marmots probably scurried under the car, picked it up, and put it in your way. Or it was the teleporting computer dildo moving on to bigger and better things, although it sounds like it may have been busy with Crow lately.
Bus driver strike? Wow...funny enough, I will be biking to work at least two days a week...once my elbow feels better...
So what what happened was the marmots were making a noise on my bike by the chain...so I took an extended look down...next thing I know, I'm trying to defy the laws of physics.
sad thing is, I've always imagined hitting a rear view mirror while checking out a girl...see, then I would get up and say "you have to give me your phone number, I crashed because of you..."
damn those marmots...I'm only allowing myself one crash like that...they stole my smooth moves!
and yeah, the teleporting dildo totally gave crow a visit. that thing gets around. I hope it bathes regularly...that would be gross...wait, Crow said he saw a red ring on his screen...does that mean his computer was violated? Like you know...in THAT way?
haven't had any problems with firefox really but I don't think I've been using any of it's special features, so there's that.

i assume a warning from your Mom in advance wouldn't have kept you from hitting it.
i gotta go to the gym tonight, didn't really exercise that much while down in LA, though I did go swimming like four times and I did push ups once...
Tuesday is still on right? Sydny will probably be joining us as she intends to get a membership.

I'm not quite sure how the whole gym thing is going to work, since I usually do stick fighting on Tuesdays (and have apparently been volunteered to teach it next week because the guy that usually teaches it is one of the janitors and they're on strike with the bus drivers next week). I can probably get to the gym around 7, if you guys will still be around at that point. Or I'm perfectly capable of sweating all over the place on my own.
we may have to migrate to a wednesday friday schedule. I definitely up for tuesdays; however, next tuesday I'm volunteering at a community BBQ event for the berkeley farmer's market (you guys wanna come?).
Let's see. what days are good for you Cyrusse? I think Paul wants to hit up 24hr fitness with me on mondays, I'll probably hit the gym on any of the following days:
tuesdays, wednesdays, fridays, and sundays. I prefer going later but Moose needs food at a certain hour or he'll change into a gremlin...
How about this, I'm definitely planning on hitting the gym up tomorrow. You interested? Maybe we could hang out after that. In all honesty I would love nothing more than to go to the gym, get smashed, and see the Hulk at Cerrito...but I know you like to stick to 2 for 1 wednesdays...grumble grumble
perhaps we can compromise. regardless, we need to all sit down and talk about gym stuff. In the end, I know we can all just go whenever and don't have to go at the same time BUT at the very least we can see about all being there at the same day...maybe meeting up and parting ways there, perhaps we could try taking a class? I'm open, just need to have a dialogue.
sorry to hear that you fell. It would have been super slick if a cute girl was around because even if the line didnt work it would have been fun to just try. I havent really noticed issues with Firefox 3 yet but like Ron I doubt very much that Ive tried to utilize anything fancy.
