To my mother (spiritual version)

I wrote this poem for my mom to give her today on mothers day. I changed the last line for her version though so that it was more about her and less about God (is that even possible?). I liked the original version though because it seemed a bit cryptic. Definitely cup material. What do yall think? I just really want to know....do you understand it?

Mother means much more to me
Than just the one word can convey
It was you who helped me see
Because of you I learned to pray
Now as a man I believe
Gods love revealed to me each day
Through all your kindness Christ remains

As a child it was not clear
If we were ever truly free
Taught to me by many seers
Your mother holds your destiny
In her all God’s truth appears
His plan for us so plain to see
Without you there was never me

That reminds me of today
The reason why we all are here
I lack the words I need to say
In my heart you are still most dear
It will always be that way
Where I am you are always near
That is why Jesus did not fear

Hint: I also wrote it for Mother Earth.

Well I read it, but I'm not sure what it is I'm supposed to be understanding. Is there a secret or hidden message? Or is it just that you were also writing it for Mother Earth? Sorry, i r teh dumb.

I second the "i r teh dumb." Before looking at the hint, all I was really getting was that it was also about mother earth / a universal love and supportiveness that is the essence of "mother." If there's anything else, I think I'm missing it.

nobodies dumb, I was just curious if you guys would try to put more into it I introduced it in such a way. there is very little alluding either of you Im sure and in essence my little experiment failed. *cry

Jesus' didnt have to fear because he was bound by destiny to the Earth, so he couldnt really leave it even by dying, this planet has a great pull to keep those of us who need to be here in place.

Oh in addition Jesus being linked to Mary by karma had no reason to fear because her love would always be present in his heart. She was there at the crucifixion and to help witness the resurrection, plus for believers like me, there is no Jesus story without Mary, shes just as much a part of the final outcome of things as her son. So it comes down to connections. Connections between the Christ story and the story of mankind, and connections between all life as we know it and
Planet Earth.

But thats just what the last line is about, not the entire poem, so like I said, not much was alluding either of yall, and of course no one is dumb. I was just curious if yall would put different things into my words.
