Just a few more days until we all head out to Yosemite. I can barely wait. Fortunately for me I have plenty to keep me busy. Ive been wanting to post an official list of camping gear that I am going to bring so that everyone can be aware of what I have, and what they may need to bring that I lack.
I will bring a
-stove
-tent
-ice chest
-sleeping bags(2)
-lantern
-flashlight
-chairs(2)
-camera
-wood(at least 1 box)
-ice
-soda/gatorade/water
-starter log
In addition to these basics I will also be bringing snacks such as, pop tarts, granola bars, condiments (mayo, mustard, catsup), bread, lunch meat, lettuce, bacon (if needed), and cheese. I figured that these would be good additions food wise to Syd's main course list that she posted. Ill make sure to call Syd in case your already bringing bread, lunch meat, etc, but no matter what it should be fine if we both just bring what we got and sort it out when we get there. Perhaps this will help though. Cant wait to see everyone this weekend! Peace.

I was going to bring bread, lunch meat, cheese and lettuce, among lots of other stuff, but if there is anything in particular that you want, bring it. I'm not going to have room for wood, but we've got two starter logs in the trunk. Good call on the condiments, I don't have any.
I'm bringing:
- dinners (hot dogs, hamburgers, tacos/burritos, side stuff)
- bread, lunch meat, cheese
- crapload of eggs
- nutrigrain bars or something similar
- 4-person tent (and 3-person tent in case there's room at the site and we want to use it)
- 2 chairs (could bring up to 4 if needed)
- 2 sleeping bags
- ice chest (need to coordinate with Lorenzo on refrigerated items)
- assorted flashlights, lanterns, lighters
- cooking implements (pots, pans, spatula, silverware, big water jug)
- paper plates and cups
- sunblock, bug spray
- two camelback bags + two extra water pouches
- camera
... I feel like I'm forgetting things. Possibly to be continued later.
I would like to request that someone brings:
- papertowels (we're totally out and I don't know if we'll get any before the trip)
- a bucket/tub to use to wash dishes (washing everything in the biggest pot isn't real fun)
I think I could bring the paper towels and the bucket. Glad that you mentioned it because I would have forgotten. Everything else sounds great.
The chicken tacos have turned into steak tacos due to a big slab of beef being on sale and chicken not. I assume all carnivores will still eat this, and if you won't, um.. bean and cheese burritos for you.
