M3 Real

Photobucket

In case anyone has been wondering as of late I have been very busy with my new t.v. and my recently purchased M3 Real DS player. The T.V. has been fun because its big, its flat, and its cool. But the M3 Real has been extra fun because I can do so much with it and Ive always wanted one. The M3 Real DS player is a cartridge that enables me to play NDS roms on my DS lite off of a SDHC transflash card! Its awesome. In the last 2 days I have played Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, FF 12 Revenant Wings, Yoshiis Island 2, Mario Kart, Metroid Prime Hunters, Castlevania DS, and many more games at the mere click of a touch screen without having to switch, or purchase, different cartridges. Its awesome. You can buy one off of Amazon oddly enough. I guess because its a "movie player" its sort of legal. I havent tried to download any movies yet but Ive read that its very easy to do. It also plays mp3s and theres a function for GBA roms but I didnt purchase the extra hardware needed to enable it. Check it out all you Nintendo DS lovers. Its worth a second look. 3 weeks ago I was going to purchase FF Cyrstal Chronicles for 40 bucks and today I played it after a 5 minute download from a random website. By the way. As of right now my favorite games are FF 12 Revenant wings and FF CC. I think I like the 12 one better because its more or less tactics with FF12 characters but FF CC has the whole super cutsy, sort of easy, hack and slash fun that I always liked in the original. Both games are amazing, especially for free. Hope everyone else is out there in digital splendor. God bless tax returns! I will be crawling out of my DS slumber tomorrow at some point if anyone wants to play WoW or Source. Have a great night.

Glad you're having a good time and keeping busy! New TV! What kind was it? Better yet, you should post a link to it's entry on NewEgg or something. Just edit your post and add it as an update.

Soooo...you're just "trying out" revenant wings, right?

Do you need seperate hardware to make backups of the games you already own? Ya know, in case you already have save files? Cause just being able to carry all your cartridges sounds fing amazing!

Well...seeing as how my DS just sits there and stares at me...I probably won't be getting this anytime soon. Although I did purchase smash bro! And have actually played a little of it too!

Man, Nintendo. You guys....I need to write them an open letter on craigslist.

haha. I think you did need seperate hardware to back up your own games. I didnt really look into that. I agree about having all games on one cartridge, Ive already seriously debated getting Mario 64 just for my friends even though I already own a copy. Shit, whats it hurt me to download it? Ive also already got back all the games that I sold and already beat. Man this M3 Real DS player is awesome! A link for my t.v. on the way.

sounds good to me. oh and about links when it comes to M3 Real just email me, I dont feel comfortable putting link up here, Nintendo may try to sue my great great grand children or something.

Im sure if you can get it off of Amazon then it's quite legal and Nintendo probably hates that more than anything else. If anything I would be more concerned about the open admission that you're probably violating the manufacturers EULA by playing ROMs from it in the first place. Just my two cents though. Heads up as always =)

i was going to to say something else...but my mind draws a blank. go figure.

Well I'm glad to hear others have joined the one cartridge lifestyle... It is so nice, and yes you will be spoiled from now on. If you're ever looking for games I'd say try romulation dot net as it's got everything fast and free... and it's a simple registration away. The backing up of saved games... much more trouble than it's worth. If you want things unlocked... get downloaded saved games. If you just want your stuff, good luck it costs more for that equipment than for the stuff to play it all. So far the only problem I have with the back ups is that the ds can't sync to the wii for games... pokemon was the only one i tried, and it had to restart to do it, after which it went back to the load screen. No Go.
So yeah all they need now is one that plays fm radio and picks up tv in the US and we're all set. Can't be that far from turning it into a cell phone too
