I was doing research on the pyramid trip. The first thing I found seemed really cool! Its called Caravan Tours at caravan.com and it runs a Mexico Aztec/Myan Ruin tour that last 8 days, sees about 4 different ruins, and costs only 998 bucks! It includes dinners and lunches, bus fair, but Im unclear if hotel fair is included, and I know that air fair is not. A bit steep to say the least but Im committed to doing it the right way so I plan on saving money from this tax return, and on every preceding check, so that next year Ill be able to afford it. Hopefully the rate stays about the same. Obviously Ill be continuing to look for better rates, or better tours. Here is a link

check it out! Cant wait to see this trip happen. I know one way or another well work it out. Peace.

not sure why the link isnt working, I suck with HTML now. If you copy and paste it should lead you just fine. I also apologize because the main site is caravan.com, not caravan tours. Ill looked over it again and it still seems cool too me. Perhaps there is much better, but at the very least this trip would be very fun.
fixed the link for ya =)
thank you!
np. all you gotta do is highlight the text that you want to be the link, then you click the button that looks like a paperclip over the world. a box should pop up that allows you to enter an address. Hit ok and it should fill in the correct html for you.
ohhh shibam shibam!
by the way, did anyone check the site out?
Checked it out for a second. Looks like a contender, but I would definitely like more options and to see if we can find anyone/site that can rate these guys. We'll just have to make sure to verify that the person/site aren't in cahoots with this company.
Definitely worth more looking into.
I was also hoping for an outside parties rating. Ill search for that, in addition to different tours. I still have to say, the route it takes is very desirable, I wouldnt doubt that a few different tours run a very similar tour. Ill be looking. Im thinking that reservation time would be most likely December 08. Id like to have at least 6 months advance to ensure my slot in whatever tour I choose. So start saving yall!
Haha! That tour hits up Palenque! That's one of my bosses favorite spots.
I been thinking about these tours and I was wondering how lost people are dealt with? Like do they do a head count before everyone gets on the bus? If someone is missing do they look for them or just carry on with the tour? My espanol is a little rusty and I'm not sure I'd trust it to save my life lol.
I tried a few google searches of combinations of "Mexico," "pyramid," "tour" and some other relevant stuff and didn't find anything that looked better. There are longer, fancier, more expensive options and a few cheap really shady looking things, but this appears to be a happy medium. I think you'd have to add another couple hundred to 1000 of airfare to the cost though. /cry
well, if there ever was a time for money to spontaneously come out of my ass, this would be it, hehe
I assume we'd all make an effort to learn some espanol before going so we wouldn't die naked and alone, in a pyramid.
NO! I don't want to be a plant people! AHHH!
