DEFTONES!!!

One of the cup members will be seeing Deftones this evening. To him I say I am green with envy. In the comments I want to know if they played any new stuff as they are just about finished with a new album according to their studio blog. For the rest of us here's a song that I've always wanted to see them perform. Maybe someday I will. =)

In my life time I have seen
Many ups and many downs
Gave my heart up to a queen
But she could not see my crown
I hid it so I could be
Laughing always like a clown
Lived inside a sleepless dream

In spite of these tragedies
I was always higher bound
Are my feathers still not clean?
Back when I slept on the ground
In the heart of the city
Love was lost amongst the crowd
I gave up most everything

But yeah, I never thought about pokemon fighting as cockfighting...or even dog fighting...but that's what it is...

Now I feel bad. Where are the poke activists working towards guaranteeing poke-rights? Pokemon have no voice. When will the senseless violence end?

The first version (yesterday)


In my life time I have seen
Many ups and many downs
I have lost most everything
Still I wear a golden crown
I have heard the angels sing
Without making any sound
But my halo isn’t clean
I once slept upon the ground
In the heart of the city
I lost her amongst the crowd
She was waiting just for me
I was just to fucking proud
Even after everything
I still have my jet black wings
I can fly away

The second version (written after some reflection and some long deep breaths)

Anime Night Post Strike

Defmoose no like waste his time. Defmoose no make anime night post. Defmoose waits until Soul Eater post gets some love or hate. Soul Eater > Macross Frontier anyways. Defmoose break your car with his head! *ROAR*

What will be in THE WRATH!

* The continent of Northrend
* The Death Knight class
* Inscription, a new profession (actually will be available in the 3.0.2 patch, which is now on the PTR)
* New raids and dungeons. All raids will be available in 10- and 25-player versions, and the first one will be a retooled Naxxramas.
* Wintergrasp, a non-instanced outdoor PvP zone with siege vehicles and destructible buildings (and a raid boss)
* Level cap raised to 80, with new spells and talents for all classes

And if only quests were this easy.

Defmoose Anime Pick: Soul Eater

So here is a screenie of the new show I've been watching. Has a very cool visual design, with the sun and the moon having freaky faces and so far has kept me pretty engaged for the first 10 episodes. Basically Death has set up a school to train people to become weapon and weapon master pairs to ensure that the Demon God is not reborn. Simple no? After an ep or two its mostly clear whats going on. Good mix of comedy and action so check check check it out. Watch the 1:30 minute intro below and tell me you aren't at least a little interested. Torrents can be found at the Tadashi fansub site.
