What I learned today: Dual wield

Today after work Ray the janitor taught my friend Lisa and me Arnis, Filipino stick fighting. It's a martial art where you learn to use two bamboo sticks or your hands to deflect bladed weapons (I assume it's also good training for using bladed weapons). There are lots of progressions of strikes and defenses that you go through, and I guess eventually you can duel with people. So yeah, I'm now level 10 and I can dual wield sticks. Fear me. Actually I totally suck and I'm going to hit myself in the head with a stick sooner or later, but it's fun.

(now I just need to teach the marmots.... what? I didn't say anything. I don't know what you're talking about)

I already do fear you sensei. Now I just have even more reasons. Before it was the biting. Now theres sticks involved? Geez, maybe Dan should hire you as a body guard against the marmots.

Meh. He wouldn't want me as a body guard. I'd probably just stab him in the back and go frolic with the marmots.

I was actually watching a show on this type of fighting back a little while ago and for the most part its just for sticks, theres no progression to blades. The scary part is they started calculating the striking force of the sticks and the power these guys can get combined with grapples and locks are more than enough to snap any bone in your body in less than a second. Oh and it developed out in the rice patties

Training to battle the evil dildo ehh?

You'll have to master the ancient art of rice patty teleportation before you can even begin to imagine such a task!

Good luck to you, I believe the fate of the world rests in your hands...
