The diminishing awesomeness of Lime Mate Mist
*if you can't tell from my leet drawing skillz, it's bathroom spray. maybe I should have tried to draw a toilet. edit: um.. it's a toilet.. I think.
You know, I saw this last night and was completely stumped. I thought perhaps it was saying that some soft drink like sierra mist or some lime drink I've never heard of started tasting like poo after you opened it (thus the necessity for the time scale). I inferred the timescale represented time after opening said drink.
Which begged the question, why would you spray soda on the toilet?
Then I looked at your comic with fresh eyes.
I now see that the time scale represents your exposure to "Lime Mate Mist" which is a lime scented cleaner.
Perhaps if the units of time were in days I would have gotten that faster...I'm slow...
So yes, now I see that you've taken around 20 [unknown units] to associate lime with poo.
I like it, very much in the tradition of xkcd. Good first web comic. Fitting that it deals with poo and is posted on the cup. Way to keep pertinent.
And as a mental exercise, what units would awesome use?
