Someone decided it would be a good idea to fire a five terawatt laser at thunderstorm looking clouds, in an attempt to trigger lightning. I guess the idea is that we would be able to get the clouds to release some of their electrical energy in a somewhat controlled fashion to prevent nature from zapping us all willy nilly. So far they haven't gotten actual lightning out of it, just patches of increased electrical activity in the clouds.
I just hope they don't get it near Blackelk. We all know what happens with him and chain lightning.

akama can use whatever weird tech we come up with and it wont matter. blackelk doesnt need lasers, lightning comes out of his fucking hands!
